The Spirit of America Foundation has been set up as a 501 (c) (3) corporation. Our application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status (Form 1023) has been sent to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). When approved, U.S. taxpayers' donations to the Spirit of America Foundation will be tax-deductible, and we will be able to apply for grants and other forms of support only available to tax-exempt organizations.
